BODY & SOUL Health Program

  • Links the concepts of spirituality & health
  • Challenges & provides opportunities for healthful living through the life cycle
  • Designed to reduce stress, disease risks and promote wellness
  • Examines lifestyles & lifestyle choices
We meet from 7:30-9:30 p.m and separate this time into four parts:

  • 1. We gather & center & spend a short quiet time to leave the busyness of the day behind.
    2. During the next session we explore spiritual issues using words such as truth, trust, creativity, simplicity, awareness, acceptance, choice, boundaries, forgiveness, fear, loneliness and those issues that affect our spiritual health.
    3. This part of our meeting will be spent exploring information & discussion on health promotion issues: diet, exercise, healthy hearts, cancer prevention, healthy bones, keeping minds alert & other generally physical issues.
    4. The last part of our session is built on the truth that laughter & humor is good for your body, mind & soul. We laugh ourselves healthy.

Held the SECOND THURSDAY evening 7:30-9:30 p.m. at:
