CONGREGATIONAL LIFE COMMITTEE NEEDS JUICE FOR COFFEE HOUR ON SUNDAY AFTER WORSHIP SERVICE: The Congregational Life Committee is asking for donations of juice for Sunday morning's Coffee Hour. Approximately two gallons of juice per week are used. We will accept either powdered mix or juice in bottles (i.e., apple, cranberry, Hi-C, etc). We ask that you do not bring juice that needs refrigeration. You may bring your donation to the kitchen either before worship service or during coffee hour. Members of the Congregational Life Committee will be there to accept your donation. Many thanks for your assistance. We know we can depend on you. | Please help us!! We are seeking donations of snacks and beverages for the Cellar. Donations may be left in the narthex or in the youth group. Thank you!! HOME AVAILABLE FOR VACATION WANTED! Used bicycle helmets, booster seats, and car seats The Board of Deacons is requesting donations of the above items for the children of our church family. Please help protect our children by donating any used, but in safe condition, helmets, booster and car seats that can be provided to our youngest members. Please place donated items in the boxes in the Narthex. Thank you! The Board of Deacons are looking for people in the Bridgewater/Somerville area to assist in transporting members to our church for Worship Service. If you are interested, please call Diane Harshbarger. Tony Schatz's book, "Living in the Light: A Personal Guide to Faith", is now available. For those of you who have ordered and paid for a copy, you may pick the book up following the worship service in the Narthex. Extra copies at $20.00 each and a new order form will be available in the Narthex after service for anyone else interested. IF YOU ARE HOMEBOUND or unable to go to the Dunellen Public Library to borrow books or materials, the library will deliver them to you. Simply call the library at (732) 968-4585 and arrangements will be made to bring you what you would like. This service is limited to Dunellen residents only. ATTENTION PARENTS COFFEE HOUR Fish, Inc., Dunellen Area, is currently in need of able-bodied volunteers who can work in their Food Room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Also needed are telephone volunteers to return calls for assistance from our clients. Anyone called to serve those in need may contact Fish at (732) 356-0081. If anyone you know needs assistance with food or clothing, call (732) 356-0081. RECORDINGS OF THE MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES are now available immediately after worship in the sound room (in the balcony). You can take home a copy of the sermon on CD, or the entire service on cassette tape. Recordings of many sermons from previous weeks are also available. In partnership with the Arrieta Institute of Bound Brook, ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are now being offered to our church members & surrounding community residents who want to learn English. The Session & the Hispanic Ministry Committee are excited about this opportunity to help non-English-speaking neighbors. Three months of classes held three times a week & taught by trained Arrieta Institute teachers, will cost students $300.00. The Arrieta Institute is handling all publicity, registration, clean-up & security. Please pray for this new outreach & ministry.
